Korea Venture Agriculture University Visits Gumi to Commemorate Farmers' Day

On the 11th, Gumi City in Gyeongbuk held an on-site education session for the Korea Venture Agriculture University at the Future Agriculture Education Center of the Agricultural Technology Center, attended by over 110 trainees and farmers to foster venture farmers and cultivate future agricultural talents.

Dr. Min Seung-gyu’s introduction to advanced Dutch agriculture, Mayor Lee Wan-seop of Seosan’s presentation on local agricultural vision, and two young farmers from Gumi sharing their best practices received great response and interest from the attendees.
Korea Venture Agriculture University (Meta Agro School) operates a one-year program at its campus in Geumsan-gun, Chungnam, where agricultural CEOs and related personnel from across the country attend monthly classes (on the second Saturday) led by professional instructors to respond to the rapidly changing agricultural environment and focus on discovering future agricultural models.
At the city level, four employees from the Seonsan branch office have enrolled in the university through demand-based special lectures and are leading the way in discovering new agricultural strategies during weekends.
