CU, Unique Pepero Day Events in Mongolia and Malaysia
Popular Pepero 1+1 Event
CU announced on the 9th that it will set up promotional materials and dedicated corners at all stores in Mongolia and Malaysia to actively start selling Pepero in celebration of Pepero Day.
CU is running a 2+1 event on six popular Pepero varieties and plans to expand the event scale in Mongolia to include about 20 types of chocolate products in addition to Pepero. In particular, in Malaysia, a unique event has been prepared where customers who purchase soft ice cream will receive three Pepero sticks inserted into it.
CU is also conducting a global advertising campaign in collaboration with the Korea Tourism Organization. Until the end of this month, 'Challenge Korea' videos featuring actor Lee Jung-jae, the honorary tourism ambassador of Korea, will be screened at over 500 CU stores in Mongolia and Malaysia. After watching the advertisement video, customers can participate in a like and comment event through the QR code displayed, with K-food products sold in stores offered as prizes.
