Hampyeong-gun Opens Korea National Chrysanthemum Festival Venue Free Until the 19th
The 2023 Korea Chrysanthemum Festival successfully concluded on the 5th, and Hampyeong-gun will open the festival grounds for free for two weeks.
According to the county on the 7th, to repay the enthusiastic support from visitors to the 2023 Korea Chrysanthemum Festival and to allow the public to enjoy the gift-like rest that Hampyeong chrysanthemums provide for a longer time, Hampyeong Expo Park will be open and operated free of charge from the 8th to the 19th.
During this free opening period, most of the large chrysanthemum sculptures such as the gift box balloon in the central plaza, the fortress wall, flower bouquets, the 9-story flower tower, and the magic castle, as well as various themed exhibition halls including the chrysanthemum bonsai exhibition hall, the natural ecology hall, and the eco-friendly agriculture hall, will be operated just as during the festival period.
Visitors can also enjoy landscaped spaces that capture the scent and atmosphere of autumn, such as the bald cypress path in Hampyeongcheon Wetland Park, reeds, pampas grass, pink muhly, and cosmos flower fields, as well as large dream trees and hope trees decorated with colorful Hyeonaeguk flowers, and various photo zones.
In particular, the nighttime landscape lighting, which is illuminated until 10 p.m., offers a unique visual experience.
