Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Successfully Concludes 'Art Festival Without Borders'
Gwangsan District in Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 6th that it held the "Art Festival Without Borders" to promote harmony between Nepalese immigrants and local citizens.
The art festival took place on the 5th at Sochon Art Factory, with about 200 Nepalese immigrants and local citizens attending.
The event began with a moment of silence to mourn the victims of the Nepal earthquake, followed by an opening ceremony, screening of a Nepalese community film, DJing and dance performances, and various other programs.
During the event, a barter market was also held, providing an opportunity for participants to bring unused items and exchange them with neighbors, fostering interaction.
