10th Anniversary of Shilla Stay, 8.4 Million Rooms Sold Over 10 Years... 10x Increase in Sales

Marking its 10th anniversary, Hotel Shilla's business hotel, Shilla Stay, announced on the 6th that a total of 8.4 million rooms have been sold over the past decade. This figure equates to more than 2,300 check-ins every day.
Shilla Stay, which began with the opening of the Dongtan branch in November 2013, currently operates 14 hotels nationwide with 4,510 rooms.
There has also been growth in revenue. Sales, which were approximately 15 billion KRW in 2014, are expected to reach 210 billion KRW this year. In November last year, Shilla Stay became the first single brand to surpass 1 million room sales. This year, it achieved the 1 million room sales milestone in early October, one month earlier than last year.
Based on service quality, Shilla Stay has been ranked first in the business hotel category for four consecutive years in the Korea Industry Brand Power Index (K-BPI) selected by the Korea Management Association Consulting.
Recently, Shilla Stay has been conducting cultural marketing by supporting promising domestic artists and utilizing its hotels as art exhibition spaces. It has also engaged in unique collaborations with various brands, including the sports brand 'Barrel,' and opened pop-up stores, receiving positive responses from the younger generation.
To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Shilla Stay is holding both online and offline events. On the anniversary day, the 1st of this month, customers visiting any of the 14 Shilla Stay locations nationwide were given a plaster air freshener shaped like Shilla Stay’s signature bear 'Tay' as a gift, limited to the first 100 visitors at each branch. Additionally, on the official Instagram, a 10th anniversary celebration comment event is running until the 10th, offering various prizes such as hotel vouchers, food and beverage vouchers, and signature bears.
