Kim Chang-hwan, Deputy Editor of Segye Ilbo, Appointed President of the Korean Editors Association
Kim Chang-hwan, deputy editor of Segye Ilbo, has been reappointed as the 51st president of the Korea Editors Association. The current president Kim was the sole candidate in the election held on the 3rd at the Korea Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul, and was elected. His term will run from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2025.
Kim began his career in journalism in 2003 at Daejeon Maeil (now Chungcheong Today) and has served as the 48th and 49th vice president and secretary general of the association, as well as the 50th president.
