Indoor Tennis Court to Be Built in Manseok Park, Suwon
The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province will construct an indoor tennis court within Manseok Park.
On the 6th, Suwon City announced that due to frequent heatwaves and heavy rains caused by climate change, it has decided to create an indoor tennis court that can be used regardless of weather conditions. They plan to convert 4 of the 14 outdoor tennis courts in Manseok Park into indoor courts.
Accordingly, Suwon City began construction on the same day, with completion scheduled for April next year.

A Suwon City official stated, "We plan to continuously expand sports facilities in connection with national and provincial subsidies so that citizens can engage in recreational sports activities in a comfortable environment." He added, "Following the Jung Hyun Junior Tennis Center, this will be the second indoor tennis court, which is expected to greatly contribute to the expansion of sports culture."
