Opening of Toy Library and Joint Childcare Room Branch No. 2 in Hwagok 1-dong
A space where toys can be borrowed and neighbors can share childcare information while taking care of children together has been established in Gangseo-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon).
On the morning of the 3rd, the district held an opening ceremony for the second Toy Library and Shared Childcare Room in Hwagok 1-dong. The newly opened Toy Library and Shared Childcare Room is located on the first floor at 40, Garogongwon-ro 80-gil, covering an area of 215㎡.
The Toy Library is equipped with 433 toys and 69 children's books. For an annual membership fee of 10,000 KRW, up to two toys can be borrowed at a time for one week.
The Shared Childcare Room is available to infants, toddlers, and their caregivers. It offers sensory stimulation play programs such as art, manipulation, and role-playing that help with the physical development of young children.
The operating hours for both facilities are from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. They are closed every Monday, Sunday, and on public holidays.
About 50 people, including District Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon, officials from the Gangseo Childcare Support Center, and local residents, attended the opening ceremony to celebrate.

We will continue to expand childcare facilities and do our best to make Gangseo a happy place for both children and parents.”
