Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, Company-wide Blood Donation for Regional Blood Supply Stabilization

Employees of Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, a subsidiary of HD Hyundai (CEO Shin Hyun-dae), participated in a group blood donation to ensure a stable blood supply in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions.

Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries announced on the 5th that it held the "2023 Second Half Life Sharing Company-wide Blood Donation Event" in cooperation with the Korean Red Cross Gwangju-Jeonnam Blood Center from the 1st to the 3rd of this month to support smooth treatment for patients requiring transfusions amid the recent COVID-19 and flu outbreaks and to alleviate the burden on the local medical community.
Since 1995, Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries has conducted annual company-wide group blood donations, with over 10,000 employees participating to date. This year, approximately 350 employees took part in the blood donation events held in both the first and second halves of the year.
