Muan-gun Seungdal Scholarship Foundation Selects 194 Scholars for Second Half of 2023

Total Scholarships Awarded Exceeding 180 Million Won

The Muan-gun Seungdal Scholarship Foundation (Chairman Kim San) held its regular board meeting for the second half of the year on the 1st at the county office situation room and selected 194 Seungdal scholarship students for the second half of 2023.

According to Muan-gun on the 3rd, the board reviewed and resolved three agenda items, including the selection of Seungdal scholarship students for the second half of 2023 and the 2024 business plan report.

Based on the scholarship foundation's operating regulations, a total of 194 Seungdal scholarship students were selected in order of highest combined scores of academic performance and conduct, and it was decided to provide a total scholarship amount of approximately 180 million KRW.

The scholarship selection fields include academic excellence, low income, arts and physical education, multicultural families, multiple children, and prestigious high school nurturing. The final 194 selected students will receive scholarships of 500,000 KRW for middle and high school students and 1,500,000 KRW for university students. For recipients of other scholarships, the amount will be deducted within the range of actual tuition paid.

In particular, starting this year, based on the revised operating regulations from the first half Seungdal Scholarship Foundation, a new multicultural family category was established, selecting 5 high school students and 2 university students.
