Gwangju Dong-gu 'Old Photo Contest' Held
Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, is holding an 'Old Photo Contest.'
The contest is part of the 'Humanities City Dong-gu Documentation Project,' which has been a key initiative during the 7th and 8th local government administrations.
Its purpose is to collect photographic records owned by individuals to examine and preserve the past appearance of our region and the life history of the people.
The contest targets photos taken before 2000 that depict Dong-gu's urban landscapes, vanished locations, and aspects of daily life.
The submission deadline is the 24th of this month. Participants can submit photo materials that fit the contest theme along with an application form online or by mail.
For more details, please visit the Dong-gu Office website or contact the Humanities City Policy Division, Humanities City Planning Section.
