Lee Cheol, Jeonnam Provincial Assembly Member, Demands Improvement of Projects Promoted by Gyeongjinwon
Lee Cheol, Chairman of the Economic, Tourism and Culture Committee of the Jeonnam Provincial Council (Democratic Party of Korea·Wando 1), pointed out the direction of projects promoted by the Jeonnam Small and Medium Business Job Economy Promotion Agency (hereinafter referred to as Gyeongjinwon) during the administrative audit.
According to the Jeonnam Provincial Council on the 2nd, Gyeongjinwon is an institution established in 2007 as a Jeonnam provincial government-funded organization that plays a role in supporting the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and job creation in Jeonnam through projects such as fostering fund support, marketing, education, consulting projects, and job creation.
Chairman Lee Cheol stated, “It is important to set a direction that aligns with Gyeongjinwon’s founding purpose of improving management conditions and strengthening competitiveness for SMEs in Jeonnam,” and pointed out, “Although Gyeongjinwon is carrying out projects in various fields, there are many projects that overlap with those promoted by other departments and bureaus.”
He continued, “We demand that Gyeongjinwon play a more practical and direct role in supporting SMEs and providing quality jobs.”
