The prosecution dismissed the arrest warrant requested by the police for Mr. A, a man in his 30s accused of kidnapping and assaulting his girlfriend.
The Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office announced on the 1st that it dismissed Mr. A's arrest warrant, who is charged with kidnapping, confinement, special intimidation, and special assault, stating, "After reviewing closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage and other evidence, there was insufficient proof that the suspect forcibly put the victim into a car, confined her, or committed assault or other acts of violence."
