Asiana Airlines Board Meeting Resumes on the 2nd of Next Month to Conclude Cargo Sale
On the 31st, Asiana Airlines announced that it will resume the board meeting, which was adjourned the previous day, on November 2. The board plans to vote on the corrective action plan for Korean Air to be submitted to the European Union (EU) Commission, including the sale plan of the cargo division.

The Asiana Airlines board held a meeting from 2 p.m. the previous day and reviewed Korean Air's corrective action plan related to the merger to be submitted to the EU Commission for nearly eight hours but was unable to complete the vote. After a recess in the afternoon, the meeting resumed at 6 p.m. but still failed to reach a conclusion.

The corrective action plan will lose its effect if it does not receive approval from the Asiana Airlines board. Since the board meeting is being held after the submission deadline of the 31st, Korean Air has applied for an extension of the submission deadline to the EU Commission.
