As the cremation rate in the city exceeds 90%, the city plans to publicize the necessity of establishing cremation facilities, which are legally required. Accordingly, the report meeting covered the current status of funeral facilities in Pyeongtaek, analysis results of supply and demand projections for funeral facilities, and site analysis for funeral facilities.
The city plans to hold a final report meeting for the service in November. At the final report meeting, comprehensive and systematic results will be derived, including a survey on citizens' awareness of funeral culture and detailed proposals for the installation of funeral facilities, including cremation facilities.
