'Drug Allegations' G-Dragon "Voluntarily Appearing at Police on November 6"
G-Dragon (35, real name Kwon Ji-yong), who has been booked on suspicion of drug use, announced that he will voluntarily appear at the police station on the 6th of next month.
Kim Soo-hyun, a lawyer from the law firm K1 Chamber representing G-Dragon, released a statement on the 31st, saying, "To ensure a swift and fair investigation, he has decided to voluntarily appear at the Narcotics Crime Investigation Division of the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency on November 6th and actively cooperate with the investigation."
He added, "We ask the press and media to take a responsible stance so that baseless false information does not cause irreparable damage to Kwon Ji-yong, a representative K-pop artist of Korea," and stated, "We will take the strongest possible legal action against speculative reports for spreading false information and defamation."
