With Parents! ... Dongmyeong University Conducts Unique Corporate Field Visits
The Department of Port Logistics Systems at Dongmyung University conducted a unique on-site company visit for early admission applicants and their parents on the 18th and 19th, marking the first time a local university has implemented such a program.
This visit was part of the Students-First, Company-Centered program, which allows students to directly explore port logistics companies, one of Busan's strategic industries.
The target companies included port logistics firms closely related to the department, such as Eunsan Shipping & Aviation, Dongryun Logistics, and DTC.
Prior one-on-one matching was arranged between interested students and parents and Dongmyung University alumni currently working at the related companies to enhance the effectiveness of the visit.
Alumni currently employed in the field introduced the frontline work environment firsthand and shared their motivations for applying and employment experiences, providing significant guidance for career choices after entering the department.
