Pukyong National University Hosts the '2023 PKNU Career and Employment Fair'
National Pukyong National University (PKNU) will hold the "2023 PKNU Career and Employment Fair" on November 1st at 1 PM in the Daeyeon Campus Gymnasium, marking the official start of the second half recruitment season.
The fair will feature 40 organizations including large corporations, mid-sized and small enterprises, public institutions, financial institutions, and research institutes, and will be organized into corporate booths, current employee booths, promotional booths, and event booths.
PKNU has expanded the target participants of the fair to include PKNU students, unemployed graduates, and local youth. Both pre-registration and on-site registration will be available.
At the corporate booths, companies such as Samsung Heavy Industries, Geumyang, Korea Investment & Securities, SK Ocean Plant, Korea Kongsberg Maritime, Yurim Specialty Chemicals, and Busan Transportation Corporation will conduct on-site interviews with HR representatives and provide information on recruitment and desired talent profiles.
In particular, the current employee booths will offer vivid information about the employment preparation process and job duties. Twenty members of the "Pukyong Career Mentor Group," graduates working at large corporations and public institutions, will provide individual counseling and consulting at each booth.
The promotional booths will be operated by related organizations such as the Busan Regional Employment and Labor Office, as well as internal support departments including the University Job Plus Center, LINC3.0 Project Group, Southeast Region Women in Science and Engineering Talent Development Project Group, and Intelligent Robot Innovation Convergence University Project Group. The event booths will feature image consulting booths and food trucks.
President Jang Young-su stated, "We are honored to hold this career and employment fair to support young people who are constantly striving and challenging themselves to achieve their own dreams and goals."
