"Why Did You Report?" 50-Year-Old Man Arrested for Stabbing Colleague Who Reported Drunk Driving
A man in his 50s, who was caught driving under the influence after being reported by a coworker, was arrested by the police for attacking the coworker with a weapon.
According to the Jinju Police Station in Gyeongnam on the 30th, Mr. A, in his 50s, was apprehended on suspicion of wielding a weapon against Mr. B, also in his 50s, near an apartment in Gajwa-dong, Jinju City, at 5:43 p.m. on the 28th.
Mr. B was stabbed in the abdomen by the weapon Mr. A used and was taken to the hospital for treatment. It has been reported that his life is not currently in danger.
It is known that Mr. A held a grudge after Mr. B reported to the police that he had been drinking and driving, which led to his DUI being exposed, and subsequently attacked him with a weapon.
The two had reportedly experienced conflicts while working together at the company.
