National Special Firefighting Equipment Officers Gather in One Place
Fire Agency-Related Workshop Held
To enhance the utilization of special firefighting equipment at large-scale disaster sites, more than 200 special firefighting equipment operators and maintenance specialists from across the country will gather in one place.
The National Fire Agency announced on the 30th that it will hold the "Special Firefighting Equipment Operators and Maintenance Specialists Workshop" in Boeun-gun, Chungbuk, until the 31st. Special firefighting equipment refers to 70m aerial (articulated) ladder trucks, rough terrain pump trucks, unmanned demolition water cannon trucks, large-capacity monitor systems, chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) analysis and decontamination vehicles, among others.
This workshop was organized to share policy trends related to firefighting equipment among central and provincial officials and field personnel, and to create a more efficient firefighting equipment management and operation system through consensus building.
