CU, Discounts Throughout November... "Enjoy Smart Shopping"
CU announced on the 30th that it will consecutively hold the Ssweoper Sale and the ‘2023 Korea Sale Festa’ throughout November to help customers shop smartly.
CU’s Ssweoper Sale is a special event held from the 1st to the 11th of every month, featuring only popular products with high customer demand in major categories. In November, it offers various giveaways and discounts such as 1+1, 2+1, and 3+3 on about 90 products.
To ease the burden on customers’ shopping baskets amid ongoing price increases, CU has strengthened the Ssweoper Sale lineup focusing on grocery items. Major discounted products include refrigerated soups and noodles, frozen dumplings, and about 20 different HMR (Home Meal Replacement) items available in 1+1 promotions. Five products such as bagged noodles and frozen noodles offer a 2+1 deal when purchasing two. Over 10 food ingredients like bean sprouts, tofu, sausages, and cooking oil, as well as five canned side dishes, are also on 1+1 promotion. Instant rice is sold in 6-pack bundles with a 1+1 offer, allowing customers to buy 12 packs for about 10,000 KRW.
Additionally, various beverages including coffee, carbonated drinks, and energy drinks are available in 1+1 giveaways. When purchasing refrigerated noodles, customers receive a combo of carbonated drinks, and a 600 KRW discount applies to two types of fruit.
Furthermore, CU will participate in the ‘2023 Korea Sale Festa’ throughout next month, offering various price stabilization promotions. CU’s private brand milk products such as Deuktem Milk 1.8L and HEYROO White Milk 1L, among six items, are available at a 30% discount when paid with Samsung Card. All bakery products from Bakehouse405 and seven types of warm cabinet beverages can be purchased at a 30% discount when paid with KB Kookmin Card or NH Nonghyup Card. All processed milk products offer a 20% discount when paid with KakaoBank mini Card, and about 20 types of wine and liquor, which see increased demand in winter, are discounted by 20% when purchased using KBpay.
Pocket CU is also running a stamp event. Members can accumulate points by purchasing any warm cabinet beverage, roasted sweet potatoes, or steamed buns, and winners will be drawn to receive prizes such as a fire pit humidifier (5 winners), ethanol brazier (15 winners), mood lights (30 winners), and getCoffee exchange vouchers (111 winners).
Meanwhile, on the Korea Sale Festa website’s CU exclusive section, various customer participation events will be available from the 11th to the 30th of next month. First, customers who answer quizzes about CU’s representative products and services correctly will receive random prizes. A new quiz is held daily, and participation is allowed once per day. There will also be a mobile mini-game event. Customers who achieve a certain score or higher in the given game missions will be rewarded with getCoffee exchange vouchers and CU mobile gift certificates, totaling about 10 million KRW in prizes across more than 5,000 items. Four draws will be held during the event period.
