"Try the 2-Day 1-Night 165-ri Walking Challenge" ... 5,000 Participants in Gyeongju
The 21st “Silla Moonlight 165-ri Walking Competition,” a special nighttime health walking program unique to Gyeongju, will be held overnight from the 28th to the 29th.
Hosted by Gyeongju City and Gyeongbuk Province and organized by the “Association of People Who Love Gyeongju,” the event will start at 7:30 PM on the 28th after pre-registration and a pre-event ceremony at Soccer Park Field 5 in Hwangseong Park.

View original imageThe event involves walking through major tourist attractions in the Gyeongju area at night, including Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, Cheomseongdae Observatory, Woljeonggyo Bridge, and Bomun Complex, allowing participants to enjoy the unique beauty of Gyeongju where the thousand-year history and culture of Silla blend harmoniously. It has been consistently loved by many.
The courses are divided into a full course of 165 ri (66 km), a half course of 75 ri (30 km), and a healing course of 20 ri (8 km), with an expected attendance of 5,000 people.
Since pre-registration on the website is currently closed, on-site pre-registration will be available from 3 PM on the day of the event at Soccer Park Field 5.
The participation fees are 19,000 KRW for the full course (general), 17,000 KRW for youth and groups, 15,000 KRW for the half course (general), 13,000 KRW for youth and groups, and 7,000 KRW for the healing course. Group rates apply for 20 or more participants.
