View original imageGyeonggi Province will offer a 20% discount on the purchase price when buying agricultural, livestock, and marine products produced in Gyeonggi Province until the end of this year to promote the consumption of local agricultural products and reduce the burden of grocery prices for consumers.
Earlier, Gyeonggi Province allocated 25 billion KRW in a supplementary budget for the ‘Gyeonggi Province Agricultural and Marine Products Discount Coupon Support Project’ and signed a consignment contract with the Gyeonggi Agricultural and Marine Products Promotion Agency to launch the full-scale project.
The businesses participating in the Gyeonggi Province Agricultural and Marine Products Discount Coupon Support Project include ▲1,171 large and small supermarkets ▲123 local food direct stores ▲133 eco-friendly stores ▲24 online malls, totaling 1,451 locations.
Anyone purchasing agricultural, livestock, and marine products produced in Gyeonggi Province will receive a 20% discount benefit per person per day.
Participating businesses in the discount coupon support project can be checked on the notice board of the Gyeonggi Agricultural and Marine Products Promotion Agency website (www.gafi.or.kr).
Offline, products are sold at a 20% discount on-site, and in online malls such as Market Gyeonggi, consumers can directly download and use a 20% discount coupon when paying for eligible products.
The discounted items include Gyeonggi rice, local mountain fruits, and eggs at large and small supermarkets. Eco-friendly stores and local food direct stores offer all products produced in Gyeonggi Province (excluding products from other provinces or imports), varying by type of participating business.
