Jindo County Council Conducts Volunteer Meal Assistance at Welfare Facilities for the Disabled
Assisting with Meal Distribution and Delivering Comfort Items... Listening to the Challenges Faced by People with Disabilities
The Jindo County Council of Jeollanam-do (Chairman Jang Young-woo) recently visited the Jindo County Disabled Welfare Center, a local welfare facility for the disabled, to carry out volunteer activities.
According to the county council on the 26th, all members of the Jindo County Council participated together in meal-serving activities at the Jindo County Disabled Welfare Center to assist about 90 disabled individuals.

In addition to helping with meal service, they delivered a small amount of consolation goods, listened to the difficulties faced by the disabled, and comforted and encouraged the efforts of the welfare center staff.
Through this volunteer activity, the Jindo County Council united with one heart and mind to pay attention to neighbors in need around us and to create a "Jindo County Council together with the residents."
Jang Young-woo, chairman of the Jindo County Council, said, "This volunteer activity was a rewarding time to meet and communicate directly with those using the Disabled Welfare Center," adding, "We will continue to do our best to support marginalized neighbors through various volunteer activities."
