HD Hyundai to Deliver the Third Keynote Following Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics

From January 9 to 12 next year (local time), Jeong Ki-sun, CEO of HD Hyundai, will deliver the keynote speech at 'CES 2024,' the world's largest consumer electronics and IT (information technology) exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA.
The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) held a media briefing event titled 'Preview of CES 2024' on the 26th at the Lotte Hotel in Sogong-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul. The CTA represents the U.S. consumer electronics and IT industries and organizes CES.
In his keynote speech, CEO Jeong will share the 'Tech-First' strategy, which utilizes technology to create a more sustainable future. The CTA explained that HD Hyundai was invited as a keynote speaker in recognition of its groundbreaking innovations that contribute to global sustainability initiatives with a forward-looking vision.
Gary Shapiro, Chairman of the CTA, said, "The industries covered by CES are becoming increasingly diverse, including fintech, bio, beauty, and fashion," adding, "It serves as a platform where many people can encounter new technologies, products, and issues."
Among Korean companies, Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics have previously delivered keynote speeches at CES, and this is the first time for HD Hyundai to do so.
In addition to HD Hyundai, global companies such as L'Or?al, Walmart, Nasdaq, Siemens, and Elevance are also scheduled to give keynote speeches at CES 2024.
CES 2024, held under the theme 'ALL ON,' will feature participation from over 3,500 companies worldwide, including Amazon, Caterpillar, Google, Honda, Intel, John Deere, L'Or?al, Mercedes-Benz, Panasonic, Qualcomm, Sony, and Vizio. About 500 Korean companies have confirmed their participation. Along with HD Hyundai, Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, Hyundai Motor Company, Kia, and Doosan are expected to participate.
The CTA explained that this event will showcase not only consumer electronics but also IT products encompassing artificial intelligence (AI), telecommunications, and semiconductors. AI is expected to be a major topic. AI-related technological advancements will be presented across all industries, including automotive, infrastructure, healthcare, sustainability, and smart homes. Companies involved in mobility technologies such as autonomous vehicles and electric vehicles will also participate.
