Technology Developers' Day is a commemorative day established by the Korea Industrial Technology Association to promote the dedication and efforts of technology developers, highlight achievements through technological innovation, and foster a social atmosphere by encouraging preferential treatment for companies contributing to the development of Korean industry. At this event, Waycen CEO Kim Kyung-nam was recognized for his contributions to pioneering the domestic and international digital healthcare market by achieving four Innovation Awards at CES, the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition, as the first medical AI company, thereby promoting K-medical technology innovation in the global market, and received a commendation from the Minister of Science and ICT.
Waycen's real-time digestive endoscopy video analysis software, 'WayMed Endo,' has succeeded in commercialization in both domestic and global markets and was designated as the 37th innovative medical device by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. Additionally, the company is conducting research and development on real-time medical image analysis technology and medical big data analysis technology, establishing a foundation in the high-growth potential medical AI industry.
