Lotte Duty Free Jeju Airport Store in New Outfit, Officially Welcomes Customers
Lotte Duty Free announced on the 26th that its Jeju Airport branch is welcoming customers again after a three-month renovation.
Lotte Duty Free has been renewing the store for about three months since July. The store design incorporates an eco-friendly concept that harmoniously blends Lotte Duty Free's future-oriented technology with the unique nature of Jeju Island. The store features best-loved brands preferred by both domestic and international travelers, such as La Mer, SK-II, and CheongKwanJang, and for the first time in a domestic offline duty-free store, it has introduced Singapore’s 'Basha Coffee.' Additionally, Jeju specialties like 'Basolt' and 'Slow Jam' are also showcased.
To commemorate the renewal opening of the Jeju Airport branch, the duty-free store is offering promotions including up to 20% discounts on popular cosmetics and perfumes such as Est?e Lauder and Jo Malone, and up to 15% off on all liquor products. Furthermore, benefits such as membership tier upgrades at Lotte Duty Free will be provided.
Kim Joo-nam, CEO of Lotte Duty Free, stated, “The grand reopening of the Jeju Airport branch symbolizes the return of unrestricted overseas travel,” adding, “Lotte Duty Free will strive to provide world-class shopping environments to foreign customers visiting Jeju, one of Korea’s representative tourist destinations.”

Meanwhile, the number of international departures from Jeju Airport in August was approximately 77,000, showing a recovery trend at about 60% compared to the same period in 2019 before the pandemic. In response, Lotte Duty Free Jeju branch is strengthening its brand lineup targeting younger generations with brands such as 'Whoo', 'Chasing Rabbit', 'Janmang Loopy', and 'Tinyping.' Additionally, it plans to create synergy and enhance foreign customer satisfaction by conducting discount events and promotions linked to Jeju Airport.
