Korea Health Industry Development Institute to Host Event for Medical Entry into Kazakhstan Until the 10th of Next Month
The Korea Health Industry Development Institute announced on the 26th that the 2023 Korea-Kazakhstan Medical Device and Medical Service Partnering Week event will be held to support the entry of domestic medical devices and medical institutions into Kazakhstan.
The event will be held offline in Astana, Kazakhstan from today until the next day, and an online consultation will be conducted until the 10th of next month.
On the first day of the event, there will be a Korea-Kazakhstan medical device and medical service company export consultation and a medical tourism briefing session. On the second day, promotional booths and consultation tables for domestic companies will be operated in connection with the 2023 Medical Device International Forum hosted by the Kazakhstan Ministry of Health.
A total of 17 companies, including Korean companies in the fields of medical equipment, digital healthcare, dental supplies, and medical products, as well as hospitals and agencies hoping to attract foreign patients, will participate in this event. Consultations are planned with about 60 Kazakhstani buyers, medical agencies, and travel agencies. Due to the COVID-19 endemic, demand for surgical and treatment devices necessary for face-to-face medical care, cosmetic medical devices, and visits to Korea for treatment are increasing, so consultations for companies in these fields will be focused on.
