KB Kookmin, Hana, and Woori Banks Open Branches at Incheon Airport
From next year, KB Kookmin Bank, Hana Bank, and Woori Bank will operate branches at Incheon Airport for the next 10 years.

View original imageKB Kookmin Bank announced on the afternoon of the 25th that it received notification from Incheon International Airport Corporation that it was selected as the preferred negotiation partner in the bidding for the bank branch at the airport.
The planned location is Business Zone 1, marking KB Kookmin Bank's return to Incheon Airport after 10 years since 2014.
A KB Kookmin Bank official said, “By establishing a branch at Incheon International Airport, Korea's representative gateway, we will enhance the convenience of financial transactions for our customers.”
Woori Bank and Hana Bank were selected as the banks for Business Zones 2 and 3, maintaining their branches at Incheon Airport.
However, Shinhan Bank, which had operated at the airport for 10 years until this year, lost out in this bidding.

A Shinhan Bank official stated, “We participated in the bidding with a reasonable amount to avoid excessive cutthroat competition,” and added, “We plan to provide currency exchange services at the same level as before through partnerships with the banks operating branches at the airport.”
