Active Police Officer and Citizen Engage in Mutual Assault on a Fully Occupied Bus During Commute
On the 25th, the Dongdaemun Police Station in Seoul is conducting a pre-indictment investigation into Sergeant Lee, affiliated with the National Police Agency, on charges of assaulting a citizen following an altercation on a bus.
According to the police, Sergeant Lee is accused of assaulting a woman in her 40s, Ms. A, near a bus stop close to Dongdaemun-gu Office in Seoul at around 8:10 a.m. that day.
The two reportedly bumped into each other inside a fully crowded bus, which led to a dispute. After getting off the bus, they engaged in mutual physical altercations, including pushing each other and grabbing hair.
