Yoon Jin-oh, CEO of Dongbu Construction, Joins 'Single-Use Products Zero Challenge'
Dongbu Construction announced on the 25th that CEO Yoon Jin-oh has joined the 'Single-Use Products Zero Challenge.'
Hosted by the Ministry of Environment and launched in February, this challenge is a relay environmental protection campaign aimed at protecting the environment by increasing the use of reusable products instead of single-use products and practicing carbon neutrality.
Participants in the campaign post images on social networking services (SNS) expressing '1' and '0' with their hands to pledge zero single-use products, and then nominate the next participant in the relay.
CEO Yoon joined this challenge upon the recommendation of Hyun Ki-jin, CEO of MK Electronics, and nominated Hong Moon-gi, CEO of the Construction Division at HJ Heavy Industries, and Kim Wan-seok, CEO of Dongbu Engineering, as the next participants.
Dongbu Construction has been actively pursuing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management since last year. With 'Dongbu Construction Green Construction 2030' as its ESG management vision, the company is carrying out various activities such as the single-use products zero relay, cost reduction campaigns, and Plogging Dongbu.
