NH Investment & Securities Conducts Volunteer Work to Assist Farm Labor Shortage
Implementation of 'Together Building Villages' Since 2016
Jung Young-chae, President of NH Investment & Securities, along with more than 60 employees, visited the farming area of Dangdong 2-ri, Munsan-eup, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do on the 25th to participate in volunteer work helping with farm labor.
Since 2016, NH Investment & Securities has been conducting the "Creating Villages Together" volunteer activity to support farmers facing many difficulties in farming due to rural aging. Dangdong 2-ri, Munsan-eup, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do is a village where NH Investment & Securities has maintained continuous support activities since May 2016, with the CEO serving as the "Honorary Village Chief" and employees as "Honorary Residents."
On this day, President Jung Young-chae and the employees worked hard removing chili pepper stalks and plastic sheets, and after the work, they donated an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to the village hall for rapid emergency patient response.
NH Investment & Securities currently has partnerships with 31 villages nationwide, actively supporting farm labor assistance during busy seasons, direct sales markets for agricultural products, and other village development projects. This year, the support activities for "Creating Villages Together" began with labor assistance in Munbong-ri village, Dangjin, Chungnam, and last year, a total of 34 volunteer activities were conducted with 964 employees participating.
