The Multicultural Family Center of Goryeong-gun, Gyeongbuk, conducted a local cultural experience and exploration event on the 22nd for 16 foreign workers and their families selected for the Ministry of Justice's 'Regional Specialized Visa Pilot Project.'

View original imageThe Regional Specialized Visa Pilot Project is a program that offers visa extension benefits to foreigners recommended by local government heads who reside and work for a certain period in depopulated areas, aiming to respond to population decline and revitalize the local economy.
During the event, participants experienced pottery making, including pottery wheel work and decorating pottery, at the Daegaya History Theme Tourism Site, and visited the Goryeong Jisandong Tumuli, recently registered as a UNESCO World Heritage site, to learn about the history of Daegaya culture.
