Exclusive Release of CGV Swift Concert Live Film
A Hot Topic Film That Earned 220 Billion Won in Just 10 Days After Release
CGV announced on the 25th that it will exclusively release the concert film of pop star Taylor Swift on the 3rd of next month. The film, "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour," earned 220 billion KRW within ten days of its release in ten countries, including the United States. It is Swift's sixth concert tour film. Since March, the tour has attracted about 3 million viewers in the U.S., generating over 1 trillion KRW in revenue. Swift is a singer-songwriter representing 21st-century popular music. Since her debut in 2006, twelve of her albums have reached number one on the Billboard charts. She has also won the Grammy Award three times. Her representative songs include "You Belong With Me," "Love Story," and "Shake It Off." CGV will screen the film at forty-one locations, including Yongsan I'Park Mall. Ticket sales will open on the afternoon of the 27th. A CGV official said, "We will deliver a vivid sense of being at the concert venue through IMAX screenings with clear visuals and rich sound."
