Jinju City to Host the 2023 Jinju Chrysanthemum Art Exhibition
Opening on October 25 Near Jinju Sports Complex
"Enjoy the Clear Autumn Sky and the Scent of Chrysanthemums"
Jinju City in Gyeongnam will hold the '2023 Jinju Chrysanthemum Art Exhibition' for 12 days from the 25th of this month to November 5th around the auxiliary stadium of Jinju Sports Complex.
This chrysanthemum art exhibition will feature about 95,000 diverse works, an increase of 10,000 pieces compared to last year, capturing the attention of visitors.
The viewing hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., showcasing various sculptural works, model works, and bonsai pieces, allowing families, couples, and people of all ages to escape their busy daily lives and enjoy healing with beautiful chrysanthemums.
In particular, there are various eye-catching sculptures such as characters and animal models for children, the grand Gongbukmun Gate, and a flower wall depicting the old appearance of Jinju City. At the photo zone, beautiful works like the heart tunnel and chrysanthemum bench are displayed, where visitors can capture memories to cherish for a long time.
This year’s chrysanthemum art exhibition will offer diverse attractions to visitors to Jinju following the Namgang Yudeung Festival and the Gaecheon Arts Festival. Additionally, from November 1st during the exhibition period, the 'Jinju International Agricultural and Food Expo' will be held near the exhibition site, expected to provide more enjoyable and experiential activities in the agriculture and rural sectors.
