Muan County Council and Gunpo City Council Pledge Continued 'Exchange and Cooperation'
Gunpo City Council Domestic Study Group Visits Muan County Council... Holds 'Legislative Exchange Meeting'
The Mu-an County Council in Jeollanam-do held a 'Legislative Exchange Meeting' on the 23rd with the Gunpo City Council from Gyeonggi-do, which visited Mu-an County.
According to the County Council, the meeting was arranged at the mutual request of the sister city councils to discuss ways to enhance exchange and cooperation, as the Gunpo City Council is conducting domestic research to strengthen the policy capabilities of its members in the Mu-an and Mokpo areas.
Eight members of the Gunpo City Council in Gyeonggi Province and four public officials from the council office are having a 'Legislative Exchange Meeting' during their visit to the Muan County Council and are taking a commemorative photo.

The meeting took place in the chairman's office of the Mu-an County Council, attended by 8 members of the Gunpo City Council, 4 officials from the council secretariat, and about 20 members and officials from the Mu-an County Council.
The meeting covered discussions on current issues in both regions, sharing information on council operations, and ways to promote friendly exchanges between the two councils and regions.
Lee Gil-ho, chairman of the Gunpo City Council, said, "I thank the officials who warmly welcomed our delegation. We will continue efforts at the council level to regularize meetings like today’s to enhance friendship and cooperation between the two regions."
Kim Kyung-hyun, chairman of the Mu-an County Council, said, "I find it very meaningful that this meeting provided an opportunity to establish continuous cooperation and bonds between the two councils. I hope that future-oriented exchanges and cooperation between the sister city councils will lead to mutual development of both regions."
Meanwhile, after the meeting, the Gunpo City Council visited Hoisan Baekryeonji, a representative tourist site in Mu-an County, to observe the development, management, and operation status of the site.
