Hanwha Aerospace is partnering with the Korea Automotive Technology Institute to develop hydrogen fuel cell and autonomous driving technologies, which are key to future mobility.
Hanwha Aerospace announced on the 23rd that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Automotive Technology Institute at 'Seoul ADEX 2023,' the largest aerospace and defense industry exhibition in Korea, to establish a mutual cooperation system for ground, marine, and aviation businesses.
Through this MOU, the two organizations plan to jointly research and develop hydrogen fuel cell and autonomous driving technologies applicable to ▲warships and eco-friendly vessels ▲defense weapon systems and power support systems ▲future aviation mobility (AAM) sectors.
Hanwha Aerospace is developing high-output, high-energy-density hydrogen fuel cells suitable for future mobility. The Korea Automotive Technology Institute supports the commercialization of companies in line with government hydrogen mobility policies and development directions, and is conducting related projects aiming to lead hydrogen fuel cell systems and hydrogen storage and charging technologies.
