Chonnam National University Launches Full-Scale Effort to Revitalize Gwangju Bitgreen Industry-Academic Convergence District
Agreement Signed Between Gwangju Global Motors and Gwangju Industry-Academia Convergence Center
Chonnam National University is joining forces with Gwangju Global Motors and the Gwangju Industry-Academia Convergence Institute to revitalize the Gwangju Bitgreen Industry-Academia Convergence District.
Chonnam National University (President Jeong Seong-taek) announced on the 23rd that it signed a business agreement with Gwangju Global Motors Co., Ltd. and the Gwangju Industry-Academia Convergence Institute on the 20th at the Gwangju Industry-Academia Convergence Institute.
According to the agreement, the parties will share infrastructure and conduct joint research with the aim of developing Gwangju's automotive industry-academia-research sector, including operating education and training programs for employees and students, planning projects for mutual development among the agreement parties, and establishing an industrial ecosystem for future vehicle transition.
Representing each institution at the signing ceremony were Park Gyu-hae, Head of the Bitgreen Industry Promotion Team at Chonnam National University, Oh Soon-chul, Director of Gwangju Global Motors, and Lee Cheon-hwan, Director of the Gwangju Industry-Academia Convergence Institute.
