The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kang Seok-jin, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 23rd that it held the '2023 Online Export Companies Domestic Investment Briefing (IR, hereinafter referred to as Investment Briefing)' at the Seoul Startup Branch. This event was organized to support investment attraction for small and medium venture companies with excellent future growth value that aim to realize online exports using their own brands and online malls.
At the event, 18 domestic venture capital investors (VCs) were invited to participate in ▲ investment attraction presentations (IR pitching) by 15 participating companies ▲ and a networking session to facilitate investment agreements between investors and participating companies. Additionally, as a follow-up to this event, at the end of October this year, overseas investors will be invited online to provide further investment consultations and opportunities to build investment cooperation networks.
SBC newly launched and is currently operating the '2023 Online Export Companies IR' project in July this year. Through this, it supports investment presentation mentoring and investment presentation material production to strengthen the investment attraction capabilities of companies that lack financial resources but wish to expand online exports.

In September, an investment attraction competition was held targeting 43 domestic and international investors, with various activities including awards for three outstanding presenting companies. Notably, two companies that participated in the competition are currently attracting investments totaling approximately 700 million KRW. Ahn Jeong-gon, Head of SBC's Global Growth Division, stated, "We will create opportunities for companies struggling to secure funds amid the ongoing harsh economic environment such as high interest rates to obtain investment capital," and added, "We will support online export small and medium venture companies to become global leading companies."
