With this, the total confirmed cases of Lumpy Skin Disease in the country have increased to 10 within three days since the first occurrence on the 20th.
The Lumpy Skin Disease Central Accident Response Headquarters (CARH) announced on the 22nd that additional confirmed cases were found at five locations: three Hanwoo farms in Buseok-myeon, Seosan-si, Chungnam; one dairy farm in Poseung-eup, Pyeongtaek-si, Gyeonggi; and one Hanwoo farm in Iwon-myeon, Taean-gun, Chungnam.
Among these, the three Hanwoo farms in Buseok-myeon, Seosan-si, Chungnam, and the dairy farm in Pyeongtaek-si, Gyeonggi, are all adjacent to farms where confirmed cases were previously reported. To prevent the spread of Lumpy Skin Disease, the CARH dispatched initial quarantine teams and epidemiological investigation units to these farms to control access.

Additionally, the cattle raised at each farm will be culled according to emergency action guidelines. Approximately 300 cattle are raised across the five farms.
