Sacheon City in Gyeongnam announced on the 20th that it actively conducted IR (investment attraction promotional activities) targeting foreign-invested companies at ‘Seoul ADEX 2023,’ the largest aerospace and defense industry exhibition in Korea.
The city held investment consultations with global foreign-invested companies including aerospace-related multinational corporations (MNCs) L-3 Harris Wescam (Canada), Sumitomo Group (Japan), and Itochu Corporation (Japan).
Sacheon City conducted foreign investment attraction promotional activities at Seoul ADEX.

In particular, the staff in charge of investment attraction promoted Sacheon’s investment environment introduction materials and distributed bottled water with incentives for settling in foreign investment zones attached to the bottles.
This ‘Foreign-Invested Company IR’ was prepared in anticipation of a continuous increase in global demand for new aircraft as travel demand rises with the COVID-19 endemic.
A city official said, “With the planned opening of the Space Agency and a firm commitment to achieve G7 status in the aerospace industry alongside corporate growth, we will continue to make efforts to attract global foreign companies’ investments to Sacheon.”

Meanwhile, ‘Seoul ADEX,’ which started as the Seoul Air Show in 1996, is the largest biennial aerospace and defense industry exhibition in Korea. This year, it is being held for six days from October 17 to 22 at Seoul Airport in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, with participation from 550 companies from 35 countries.
