Gyeongnam National University Confirms Practical Potential of Quantum Energy via Quantum Arrays
Innovative Energy Solutions
Implementation of Quantum Energy Harvesting
The quantum research team at Gyeongnam National University recently achieved a breakthrough in the practical application potential of quantum energy generation through their study on ‘Quantum Array (Quantum Self-Interpretation Array in Quantum Physics) Based Quantum Power Generation Technology.’
Having previously published a paper in 2021 on the development of a self-amplifying power generation system using quantum fluctuations, the research team reorganized as the ‘Gyeongnam National University Utopia Project Team’ and has been conducting applied demonstrations and practical research on the mass production potential of quantum dynamos in small models with the lowest efficiency, in line with the acceleration era of smart mobility.
The research experiments were conducted in two phases. The first phase involved connecting a conventional small generator and a quantum-arrayed small generator to motors and measuring the motor rotation amount under load. The second phase involved rotating a quantum-arrayed universal motor to generate minimal power, applying a load, storing it in a portable charging battery via an amplification module, and measuring the output power through a boost module.
In the first experiment, when a conventional small generator powered by DC 3V 1A was loaded with an LED bulb (3.7V UVC), the motor rotation speed slowed down to one-quarter. However, under the same conditions, the quantum-arrayed small generator showed no reduction in motor rotation speed despite the load.
In the second experiment, a quantum-arrayed universal motor powered by DC 20V 1.34A was rotated at 1500 RPM to produce minimal power (AC 7V 0.01A), which was loaded and connected to an amplification module, stored in a portable charging battery (Input DC 5V 1A), and then boosted through a boost module. As a result, all 38 LED bulbs lit brightly, and there were no signs of input power increase, rotational deceleration, or temperature changes.
Regarding the experimental results, a team representative stated, “The quantum dynamo equipped with quantum arrays has an innovative mechanism that allows the use of power from conventional small motors, which were previously inefficient due to electrical resistance overload, without load, while simultaneously producing and storing power without load.” They added, “Through this research, we cautiously anticipate not only the practical application potential of the ‘Energy Harvesting System’ (a conversion technology that collects various natural and artificial energy sources to use as useful electrical energy) but also the acceleration of the quantum energy generation era.”
They continued, “Since this research utilized widely used small motors, generators, and universal motors, the quantum dynamo with quantum arrays is expected to rapidly achieve mass production capabilities and be widely applied in electric vehicles, smart mobility, and home appliances. In particular, the practical application potential of the energy harvesting system through quantum arrays could extend the flight time in the drone sector, where short flight duration has been a challenge. It is also expected to be applied in the electric vehicle sector to easily overcome the inconvenience of shorter driving ranges compared to internal combustion engines, potentially revolutionizing the electrical energy market depending on whether quantum dynamos are installed.”

Furthermore, they stated, “Quantum arrays discovered in quantum physics defy the isolation of the law of conservation of energy and the laws of thermodynamics, which have been asserted for centuries in the fields of electricity, electronics, and energy, opening a new paradigm in the energy sector.” They added, “Since existing renewable energy generation systems, which were inefficient under load, can be improved into high-efficiency generation systems through quantum arrays, we are confident that this research will bring us one step closer to the popularization of the quantum era.”
