KHNP Hanul Unit 6 Reaches 100% Output After Scheduled Preventive Maintenance Completion
Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (Head: Lee Seyong) announced, "Hanul Unit 6 (Pressurized Water Reactor, 1 million kW class), which entered planned preventive maintenance on August 16, resumed power generation on October 15 and reached 100% output at 7 a.m. on the 18th."
During this planned preventive maintenance period, Hanul Unit 6 underwent statutory inspections according to the Nuclear Safety Act, and performed fuel replacement, inspection, and maintenance of major equipment and facilities to enhance the safety and reliability of the power generation facilities.
