40-Year-Old Man Wearing Women's Underwear Causes 'Drug' Rampage in Downtown Arrested
A man in his 40s who caused a disturbance wearing women's underwear after using drugs in the heart of Seoul was arrested by the police.
On the 17th, the Dongdaemun Police Station in Seoul announced that they had booked Mr. A, in his 40s, on charges of causing a disturbance after using methamphetamine at a lodging facility, and he is currently under investigation without detention.
According to the police, Mr. A is accused of using methamphetamine around 10 a.m. on the 15th in a hotel room in Dongdaemun-gu and damaging property worth approximately 4 million won, including the bathroom door handle, fire escape door handle, and a compressor located in the rooftop stairwell (charges include violation of the Narcotics Control Act and property damage).
The police responded to a report of "an intoxicated man causing a disturbance in a hotel" and, upon arrival, found syringes suspected to have been used for drug injection in Mr. A's room. They conducted a preliminary drug test and sent samples to the National Forensic Service for detailed analysis.
Mr. A stated, "I wanted to try methamphetamine because I was feeling weak." Regarding walking around wearing women's underwear, he claimed that he tore his own underwear and wore it.
