Gwangju Bukbu Fire Station Conducts Joint Fire Drill at Gwangju History and Folklore Museum
Gwangju Northern Fire Station announced on the 17th that it conducted a joint fire drill at the Gwangju History and Folklore Museum on the afternoon of the 16th.
This drill was conducted to enhance the initial response capabilities of the self-defense fire brigade, mainly composed of public institution officials, and to raise awareness of fire prevention and the importance of fire vigilance.
The drill involved two fire pump trucks and about 20 participants, including firefighters and museum staff, who practiced 119 emergency call procedures, evacuation and guidance of people, removal of confidential documents, and initial fire response, ensuring that each self-defense fire brigade member understood their respective duties.
Additionally, training was conducted on the use of firefighting equipment such as indoor fire hydrants and fire extinguishers for rapid initial response in case of fire.
