On the 16th, Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held a special lecture and meeting with invited experts for businesspeople to prepare for the future market of the nuclear power industry and strengthen the cooperation system among local nuclear power companies.
The special lecture featured Jeong Beom-jin, President of the Korean Nuclear Society, and Park Hong-jun, Head of the Spent Nuclear Fuel Core Technology Development Project Group, who discussed domestic and international technology development trends and prospects in the fields of Small Modular Reactors (SMR) and spent nuclear fuel storage systems.
