Leading Drug Prevention and Eradication to Create a Safe, Drug-Free Society
Seung-ro Lee, Mayor of Seongbuk District, joined the drug prevention 'No Exit' relay campaign on the 13th to raise awareness about drug crimes infiltrating daily life and to create a safer society.
The No Exit campaign is a nationwide prevention campaign promoted by the National Police Agency and the Drug Eradication Movement Headquarters to raise awareness of the dangers of drugs and prevent and eradicate drug use and distribution, which have recently surged.
Seongbuk District is uniting the local community to eradicate drugs. Last month, the Donam 2-dong Youth Guidance Council, Donam Police Substation, and Seongbuk Public Health Center jointly conducted a youth drug eradication campaign around Seongsin Women's University Station and Hanaro Street, areas frequented by many young people.
Seung-ro Lee, Mayor of Seongbuk District, stated, "Drugs are a serious crime that harms not only individuals but also families and ultimately our society. We will do our best to lead drug prevention and eradication efforts through this campaign to create a safe society free from drugs."
