Until the 31st, Lotte Department Store will hold a collaboration pop-up store between its high-end fashion select shop ‘ELIDEN’ and Mihara Yasuhiro on the 1st and 2nd floors of the main store. The capsule collection products co-created by Mihara Yasuhiro and K-artists will be exclusively showcased at the 1st floor pop-up store and the 2nd floor ‘ELIDEN’ store, while customized sneakers by K-artists will be exhibited as one-of-a-kind limited editions at the 2nd floor Void pop-up store.
The representative capsule collection items include T-shirts (415,000 KRW), hoodies (915,000 KRW), sweatshirts (915,000 KRW), and tote bags (215,000 KRW) co-created with artist 275C and Graplex, available for purchase at the 1st floor pop-up store and the 2nd floor ‘ELIDEN’ store. Additionally, Mihara Yasuhiro’s RTW (Ready To Wear) line and the sneaker collection, which has recently gained unique popularity among celebrities, will also be available. Customized sneakers by K-artists will be sold through a lottery for customers who verify the QR code at the pop-up store and art hall after the exhibition.
Mihara Yasuhiro began designing uniquely shaped shoes while attending Tama Art University in Tokyo and entered the fashion industry in 1998 by establishing a brand under his own name. This exhibition is expected to offer a chance to explore his diverse artistic facets beyond fashion, including sneaker design samples, personal collections, and videos and music created by himself.
At the Art Hall on the 6th floor of Jamsil AvenueL, the ‘Knot Knot Land’ exhibition, a collaboration between Mihara Yasuhiro and K-artists, will be held until December 10th. The exhibition showcases Mihara Yasuhiro’s archives and artistic world while presenting reinterpretations inspired by his work and the character ‘Kusuhimo Musubena-gun’ by five leading Korean K-artists for the first time. The invited K-artists are 275C, Graplex, Moon Yeonwook, Lee Kwangho, and Lee Hyunggu, who are distinguished artists active in design, crafts, and installation art.
Regarding the pop-up and exhibition, Mihara Yasuhiro said, “In my youth, I wanted to harmonize people and art, so I started designing shoes to give artistic value to consumer goods people use, which led me to fully engage in fashion design. This collaboration pop-up and exhibition is a continuation of that, not focusing mainly on fashion or products, but showcasing the character I created (Kusuhimo Musubena-gun) and the collaborative results with various Korean artists, so I am very excited.”

Woo Soonhyung, head of the PB division at Lotte Department Store, said, “Considering the recent trend among MZ customers who are enthusiastic about limited edition products, experiential pop-up stores, stories and philosophies behind products, and artworks, we decided to hold this pop-up and exhibition simultaneously under the theme of the fusion of fashion and art. We have prepared with great care over the past two years with Lotte Gallery to bring together Mihara Yasuhiro, Lotte Department Store’s high-end select shop ELIDEN, and five K-artists in one place.”
