Father and Son Who Cleaned Public Bath Together Found Dead... Electrocuted While Draining Bath Water
A tragic accident occurred at a public bathhouse in Gumi, Gyeongbuk, where a father and son were electrocuted and died while trying to drain the water from the bath for cleaning.
According to the Gyeongbuk Fire Headquarters and Gumi Police Station on the 15th, at around 7:10 p.m. on the 14th, a man in his 60s and his son in his 40s were found electrocuted while performing cleaning work at a public bathhouse in Songjeong-dong, Gumi City, prompting the bathhouse staff to request rescue.
The 119 emergency medical team that arrived performed emergency treatment on the victims who were in cardiac arrest and urgently transported them to a nearby hospital, but both father and son died.
At the time of the accident, they were reportedly performing drainage work with a pump in the men's bath.
