On the 13th, the ‘Beer Festival’ offering the refreshing taste of autumn beer was held at Sinseong Traditional Market (Market Chairman Song Byeong-ho) in Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Gyeong-ho).
The festival was designed as a communication space where people of all ages could come together. Following the opening ceremony, there were congratulatory speeches from guests, an impromptu singing contest by residents, and performances by invited singers, showcasing a variety of enjoyable events reflecting the market’s unique character.
Additionally, various experiential activities such as sock yarn crafts, flea markets, and face painting for visiting children were very popular. Along with delicious food and draft beer, the festival attracted a continuous flow of visitors. Approximately 1,000 people attended the event, making it a great success.
District Mayor Kim Gyeong-ho said, “I sincerely thank the merchants of Sinseong Traditional Market who devoted their efforts in every way to prepare for the festival,” and added, “We will always strive to revitalize traditional markets that embody our living culture.”
